Once
an invoice or credit memo is completed, it is no longer possible
to review the details or comments on the screen. Once a period
has been closed, and the invoice is moved to history, it is
no longer possible to view or print the invoice. This tool
allows the details and comments to be viewed on the screen
after the invoice has been completed. Editing or deletion
of comments is permissible only on a current invoice. This
tool works with both current and history invoices. Additionally,
this tool will reprint invoices from history.

Problem #1: Once I have completed an invoice I cannot see
the details again! Can you change the program, so I can view
the invoice details?

#2: I just closed the month, and cannot find the invoice printed
last month for the ABC Company. Why can't I find it in the
computer? Is it gone? Can you change the program, so I can
view or reprint my old invoices?

#3: I'm editing an invoice and would like to view, and possibly
change or delete, an existing comment while making other changes.
Can you change the program, so I don't have to use File Maintenance
to edit or delete a comment?
This
tool provides the answers to all three questions.
With
this tool you will be given additional choices when you are
editing invoices. These choices are only available for current
invoices and history invoices. You will also notice when you
are editing the header information, the choice to review invoice
detail and comments. Details can only be viewed, whereas comments
can be edited or deleted.
Printing
of the invoice from the Main Menu now allows the selection
of an invoice from the history file. Batch printing of history
invoices is not provided, so select "Individual" at the prompt.
Batch printing of current invoices is unaffected.
All the
features described above, apply to Credit Memos, as well as
invoices.
