                    tool allows the user to use all the fields in the vendor database 
                    to generate mail merge files that are preformatted for use 
                    with Microsoft Word and Word Perfect. Through simple selection 
                    criteria, a mail merge file is created that is then used with 
                    a mail merge letter to generate letters to whichever vendors 
                    are selected.

                    utility can be used from everything from a change of address 
                    to bid quotations or cover sheets. 
                  Additional 
                    menu selections are provided to extract the vendors to use 
                    for mail merge. These criteria include vendor number, zip 
                    code, phone number, code, type, and year to date payments. 
                    Once the vendors are selected, choices are provided for the 
                    word processor to use and locate where the mailmerge file 
                    will reside. All data in the vendor file is then transferred 
                    to the mailmerge file where any or all of it can be used in 
                    the mail merge letters.

                    in the file is labelled in an easy to use fashion that is 
                    well documented. Once the letter is completed in the work 
                    processor, it is easy to send to any of the vendors for any 
                    reason.
