Inventory Maintenance
Each inventory item has the potential to be stored in multiple
locations. Once locations are set up the information is always
requested whenever the items are processed. When items are
sold or recieved it is necessary to enter this information
in addition to the standard information. The date added and
other information are stored automatically.
Detailed Information
The detailed information about the stock in any location is
available by selecting the line and pressing . A box will
be displayed and may be edited there. It is not difficult
to add additional information to this screen if desired.

Transactions
When processing items in any way that will alter the onhand
quantity, the information will be requested. When invoicing,
inventory adjustment issues, or shipping sales orders the
location information is selected from a list of the available
on hand stock. When receiving purchase orders of inventory
adjustment receipts, the information is entered. When an item
is moved, it is necessary to record the move in the inventory
file. It does not affect the accounting, but the location
of the item must be changed. To change the location of the
item just bring it up and change the quantity. A new record
will automatically be added for the difference and a screen
will pop up to the right to enter the new information. Items
can be split up as many times as desired. Once the items are
received and the information is entered it is possible to
view the information.
Reports
A new report has been added to show the inventory on hand
by location. When printing the on hand report the question
will be asked if the location specific report should be used.
Other reports have not been altered.
